Through tourism, we aim to create opportunities for connection, learning, and celebration, while helping travellers discover the beauty of the land and the voices of its First Peoples.

Our Mission & Vision

Mission

Our mission is to connect travelers with authentic, Indigenous-led tourism experiences that honor culture, respect the land, and support community well-being. We are committed to fostering meaningful exchanges that celebrate Indigenous traditions, promote responsible travel, and contribute to reconciliation through awareness and action.

Vision

Our vision is to become a trusted hub for Canadian Indigenous travel experiences, where every journey deepens cultural understanding, strengthens respect for Indigenous sovereignty, and empowers communities to share their stories with the world. We envision a future where tourism serves as a bridge to reconciliation, sustainability, and mutual respect across cultures.

How Are We Supported

Indigenous Travel Exchange is supported in part through affiliate links on our website. When you book accommodations, tours, or travel services through these links, we may earn a small commission—at no additional cost to you. This helps us maintain the platform and continue promoting Indigenous-owned and operated tourism experiences across Canada.

We also generate income by creating custom travel itineraries and providing personalized travel planning services. These services are offered independently while operating under Nexion Canada as an independent travel agent, allowing us to design meaningful, seamless travel experiences tailored to your needs.
